KEN BANNON
TRIAL ATTORNEY
Ken is a born-and-raised Tri-State native who spends each day trying to earn the title of “World’s Most Interesting Man.” He completed his Associate and Bachelor degrees at Marshall University, and prior to law school he spent nearly twenty years in the arts and entertainment industry working as Senior Producer at MPE Entertainment and as Technical Director for the Marshall Artists Series and the Keith-Albee Performing Arts Center.
Ken made the trip to Morgantown and West Virginia University in 2012 to begin his post-graduate studies. He earned both a Master of Public Administration and Juris Doctorate in 2015. While at WVU, Ken served as the Chief Justice of the Moot Court and Chairman of the College of Law Ethics Council, won the prestigious Marlyn E. Lugar Cup for trial advocacy, and he was a judicial extern for former Chief Justice of the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals Larry V. Starcher.
Ken’s legal experience runs the gamut. He’s handled criminal cases, family law, and personal injury matters, and he’s not afraid to take on a new challenge. As a Cabell County Assistant Prosecutor, Ken tackled some of the toughest cases in the area, including acting as trial counsel in a well-publicized murder trial.
When he’s not in court, you might catch him serving as an Adjunct Professor at Mountwest Community and Technical College or working with actors and performers on stage. Ken also spends each Thanksgiving in New York working to help costume the world’s largest and oldest Thanksgiving Day Parade. He’s worked with some of the top artists in the world and his behind-the-scenes work has developed a creativity that serves him well in practice.
Whether you need a tough litigator, a creative problem-solver, or both, Ken’s got you covered.
