Raised in Kaiserslautern, Germany as an Army brat, Dan has long called West Virginia home. An experienced trial attorney who has taken multiple cases to successful jury verdict throughout West Virginia, Dan's primary practice experience includes consumer protection litigation, family law, and criminal work. He also has extensive experience working as a Judge Advocate in the West Virginia Army National Guard and as General Counsel for the West Virginia Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Dan served honorably as a Green Beret. He became a combat veteran while serving with 2d Battalion, 19th Special Forces Group as a Special Forces Engineer Sergeant. Dan deployed several times to Iraq, Kuwait, Kosovo, and the UAE. His awards and decorations include the Combat Infantryman Badge, Special Forces Tab, and Bronze Star.
Dan and his wife Jerri live in Charleston with their son. In his spare time, Dan can be found on his Harley or in the kitchen working as an amateur gourmet chef.
